About the event: Sprout is WFCF's largest fundraising event of the year and marks the start of a new growing season. This year, Sprout will be held at the historic Lyman Estate in Waltham, where WFCF has farmed three acres of land since 2004. We will host 150 attendees at our in-person event, plus more bidding at home. In addition to enjoying fabulous local food, drinks, and music, guests will place bids on an exciting silent auction catalog, purchase, grab bags, and enter for a chance to win our raffle basket. All proceeds from the event support WFCF's food access and education programming. Sprout is a fun event that gathers together our community, and this year we have even more to celebrate as WFCF begins its 30th season of food access!

The funds contributed through the silent auction & ticket sales directly contribute to WFCF's education & food access programs.

Funds raised in 2023 contributed to a strong season at WFCF. Notabely, our farmers distributed over 28,000 lbs of produce to low income individuals and local food organizations, our CSA programs provided over 83,587lbs of produce to 513 households, and our education programs provided hands-on learning experiences to over 1,700 children. In addition these programs, WFCF offers a strong array of volunteer opportunities, farmer training programs, and growing SNAP sales at our 100% local Farm Stand. A contribution in 2024 is vital in helping us grow and sustain these programs.

Contributing an item to our silent auction catalog will not only help make our event a sucess, but also give your business valuable exposure to our extended community of farm supporters. Our farm community will view the auction catalog thousands of times over the course of the event, making bids both at home and in person. These individuals are locally minded in their support and are likely to patron businesses who support WFCF! Your generosity will be formally acknowledged on our auction site, social media, and at the event.

Celebrate 30 years of food access with us at Sprout 2024 and plant a seed for a new season!
