Serving Youth, Adults, & Families
WFCF Education Programs offer a variety of experiential, project-based adventures for learners of all ages. Explore agriculture, gardening, nature, culinary arts, sustainable homesteading, foraging, and science-based programs through hands-on experiences in every season. Our interdisciplinary programs take place largely outdoors in our Learning Garden, Education Shed & MicroField. Our amazing team of WFCF Educators and guest instructors deliver age-appropriate lessons and workshops all designed by professionals in their field.
If you have any questions about our education & enrichment programs and offerings, please email Director of Education & Community Engagement Jessica Herwick

Waltham Resident Discounts, Scholarships, and Fee Assistance
We offer a Waltham Resident discount on many of our programs; look for this ticket option in the program's description when you register. You can select our Waltham Resident option if you are a Waltham resident who usually registers for our programs through the Waltham Recreation Department, or if this rate will allow your child(ren) to explore and learn with us.
Your support strengthens our nonprofit farm and our community by keeping our programs accessible to all.
Fee Assistance is available for all educational programs offered through Waltham Fields Community Farm.
Please read the USDA Income Guidelines. If you are eligible for fee assistance, and no scholarship ticket is available in the program registration for the program you'd like to participate in, please contact our Director of Education Jessica Herwick to register.
Please email jessica@communityfarms.org to inquire about additional fee assistance.
