CORPORATE GROUPS / ADULT GROUPS - Corporate/University/Faith-based/Social.
WHAT DOES A GROUP DO? We welcome groups of 5-15 (ask if your desired group size is larger) for morning or afternoon shifts of ~3 hours. In Spring-Autumn, the work may involve planting, weeding by hand or hoe, harvesting, tidying up, or many other farm tasks; occasionally in the greenhouses also. We usually have little need for Winter work as we put the farm to bed for the season. It varies each week so we can not predict what you will be doing until we are close to the date. But no experience is necessary, just a willingness to pitch in and see the satisfying results of your labor!
HOW DO I SCHEDULE A DATE?
Choose a few dates and times from the calendar below that work best for your group.
Complete the Volunteer Group Form.
We will get back to you within a week. Please note that availability on this calendar does not guarantee that space will be available for you until you have heard back from us. Thank you! We really value your support and look forward to working with you! Please review our Tips for Volunteers in advance of your first experience.
IS THERE A FEE? Most corporate volunteer groups also make a financial contribution but this is not a requirement (typically ~$75-100 per volunteer for corporate groups, and $10-$25 per volunteer for community/non-profit/faith-based groups). This financial contribution helps defray our costs. Please reach out even if you do not have a budget for this. We want to hear from you and look forward to working with your group!
