CORPORATE GROUPS / ADULT GROUPS - Corporate/University/Faith-based/Social

WHAT DOES A GROUP DO?  We schedule groups of up to 16 volunteers for morning (9am-noon) or afternoon (1:15-4pm) shifts.  Ask if your group size is larger, we may be able to accomodate.  Volunteers may be planting, weeding, harvesting, tidying up, or doing special projects. It varies each week so we can not predict what you will be doing until we are close to the date. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to pitch in and see the satisfying results of your labor!

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A DATE?  The calendar below shows possible available dates: please choose a few that work best for your group, then complete the Volunteer Group Form We will get back to you within a week. Please note that availability on this calendar does not guarantee that space will be available for you until you have heard back from us. Thank you! We really value your support and look forward to working with you! Please review our Tips for Volunteers in advance of your first experience.

Are you a group that prefers Sunday work? Reach out to coordinate a possible volunteer visit - volunteer@communityfarms.org

IS THERE A FEE? Most corporate volunteer groups also make a financial contribution of $750-$5,000 but this is not a requirement (typically ~$100 per volunteer for corporate groups, and $10-$25 per volunteer for community/non-profit/faith-based groups). This financial contribution helps defray our costs. Please reach out even if you do not have a budget for this. We want to hear from you and look forward to working with your group!

We are enormously grateful to the 800+ volunteers who come to work in the farm fields, in our educational garden areas, at our public events - contributing over 2,000 hours of work annually. Gracias, Mesi, Thank You!
